It seems Durham is the hot destination for film crews this year. Following on the heels of the Main Street film production (pick up our June/July issue with Colin Firth on the cover for more on that), the Travel Channel's Man vs. Food show will spend this week filming host Adam Richman taking on some of our go-to destinations - Wimpy's Grill and the Backyard BBQ Pit. The episode will culminate with Richman's Man vs. Food team competing in The Doughman competition on May 23. This year's race begins at blu Seafood and Bar and hits Four Square, Dain's Place, Nosh and the "handful of happiness" that is the Daisy Cakes' chrome Airstream travel trailer. The competition benefits SEEDS. No word yet on when this episode of Man vs. Food will air, but I am hungry already.  DM
