Enjoy breakfast on the patio at Rick's Diner - before the day gets too hot!
Tucked away behind Hope Valley, just off of MLK Boulevard in west central Durham, is the tastiest of shopping centers - Shannon Plaza. We've lived in the Bull City for almost three years now, and have seen quite a number of changes to this area.
We've written posts in the past to applaud the tastiness of Bull Street Gourmet & Market, which is newly opened and quite the place to grab a glass of wine after work or stay for a light and local dinner. We've also recently found ourselves craving OnlyBurger, grabbing a pie to go from Pop's Backdoor Pizza and brunching at Rick's Diner. We feel pretty fortunate to have such a delicious lineup so close to our home.
Oh, and in case you're curious - we get the brie and apples from Backdoor. Craving Mexican food? Just keep moving on to Tonali, in the next parking lot on Shannon Road. The fish tacos may just be the best in town, and restaurant.com always has a deal for this scrumptious place.
