Realign your ch'i after a long workday at the new Durham Yoga Company on the second floor of 502 Rigsbee Ave. – for free! Well, at least for the rest of this week.
As a part of their grand opening celebration, the Yoga Company is hosting free classes all week with special events September 7-9, including a flying yoga performance, kids’ yoga open house, kirtan, eco tours of the building and guest speakers.
It all culminates with a grand opening party on September 8 at 6pm. Enjoy snacks from Vimala’s Curryblossom Café and win a prize during yoga trivia. At 7pm, the space will be blessed with music and dancing to follow.
The Durham Yoga Company offers classes for all ages, with the first class free and walk-in classes for $15. Or buy a 5-, 10-, or 20-class pass for $70, $130 or $240, respectively. Students, teachers, military, police, firefighters and EMTs can attend a class for only $10 with their ID.
