Glandon, by Belk Architecture, is one of six homes on the Oct. 6 tour
Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 6 for the 2012 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Triangle Tour of Residential Architecture.
This year’s tour will showcase six award-winning, architect-designed homes throughout the North Carolina Triangle – including one designed by Belk Architecture right here in Durham. (Entries from Duda Paine and Ellen Cassilly were considered as well.) The top six were chosen based on overall design concept, how well it meets the need of its owners, its relationship to site and materials selection/environmental considerations.
The tour winners were selected by an independent architecture jury chaired by Roberto De Leon of the Louisville, KY-based design firm, DeLeon and Primmer Architecture Workshop.
The tour is self-guided and open to the public. Tickets are $15 and homes can be visited at your leisure, in any order during tour hours of 10 AM-5 PM. For more information and to buy tickets check out the AIA Triangle Tour website HERE.
