DNC

Members of the Duke community are invited to join in a live Twitter chat tonight with several Duke faculty and students during President Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention.

The speech is scheduled to begin after 10pm, at which time several graduate and undergraduate students, including members of the Duke College Republicans and Duke Democrats, and Duke professors including: Bruce Jentleson, Ken Rogerson, David Schanzer and Don Taylor of the Sanford School of Public Policy; psychology professor Gary Bennett; religion professor Ebrahim Moosa; English professor Maurice Wallace; and black church studies professor J. Kameron Carter will begin live tweeting from Charlotte.

The “public classroom” and tweeters will offer non-partisan, respectful analysis and commentary on Obama’s speech. If you can play nice, feel free to chime in during the chat using the hashtags #DukeChat and #DNC2012, or just follow the chat by clicking here.
