vert and vogue 3

At Vert & Vogue the collection is classic and contemporary. The boutique offers a full silhouette of styles and accessories that will remain comfortable and chic year after year. Vert & Vogue aims for versatility, offering pieces to mix and match for a casual, professional or night-out look. Beautiful silk-wool blends and organic cotton are popular, as they craft sophisticated looks that are as comfortable as they are stylish. A few designers Vert & Vogue carries: Stewart+Brown, James Perse, Organic by John Patrick and Tucker, Raleigh Denim, AG Jeans, and Ashley Brodie, Matt & Nat, J.W. Hulme Co., and Brave Leather. SUNO is the store's newest designer line, which is a Kenyan/American collaboration that boasts mesmerizing prints, impeccable tailoring and a fresh look.

Not only does Vert & Vogue offer designer clothing for women, they have a large and diverse shoe collection featuring the Woodie boot from Camper and the Spanish-made Colico brand. To all the men out there, you’re in luck. Vert & Vogue doesn’t skimp on men’s apparel as they offer well-tailored shirts from Culturata, New England Shirt Company and Steven Alan.

The boutique says they have noticed that in today’s society, people are continually bombarded with information and generic advertising, so they want to put an emphasis on customer service to provide a well-curated boutique experience.

They invite people in to play dress-up and renew their style. From the time the boutique opened in 2008, they have sought out fashion that looks fabulous while lessening its impact on the earth. Fifty percent of their collection is made in the United States, while much of the rest is made in Canada or artisanal communities. They carry organic cotton and other sustainable fabrics that are eco-friendly. Owners Nadira and Ryan dreamed of creating a business that would combine their love of both fashion and the environment. The name "Vert & Vogue" is a direct reference to that: vert is French for green, and vogue, of course, means fashion. The fact that the stores name is in French is a nod to the European aesthetic of their collection and to Nadira's Parisian roots. The owners say, “We're trying to do our part to create a fresh retail concept while filling a need in the community."
