Get an up-close-and-personal look at the Duke basketball team on Nov. 8 and support a great cause – the Emily K Center – in the process.
Win-win, right?
A $250 ticket gets you floor-side seats to a Coach K-led Duke practice, while former team captain and member of the 2001 National Champion Blue Devils Nate James offers unique insights.
After practice, take a tour of the Duke Basketball Museum & Athletics Hall of Fame, then enjoy dinner with Coach K and the rest of the coaching staff. After dinner, coaches will, according to the Emily K press release, "answer questions from the guests, share intimate stories and more than likely enter into a lively round of one-upmanship."
For example: "Byron Hargett, one of last year’s attendees, recalled, 'When Jay Bilas leaned into the mic and said, "I’ve never shared this story before, but…" and then revealed a real doozy, I felt like a real insider. I thought I’d heard or read every Duke Basketball story there was, but obviously I hadn’t, and some of these were legendary. I wouldn’t miss it this year for anything.'”
