This week at Duke University's Nasher Museum of Art (2001 Campus Drive) there's a cool opportunity to participate in their summer Make and Take Series. Head over at 5pm on Thursday. This unique event gives guests, adults and children alike, the opportunity to explore the exhibits of the museum through hands-on crafting.
Crafting this week will focus on the work of Alexander Calder, known as the inventor of the mobile. Guests will make their own table-top stabile during the evening's tour to celebrate Calder's work, an exhibition of which just wrapped up a few weeks ago. Admission is free and more information can be found at the Nasher Museum of Art's website.
