Headed downtown for work or play today? Stop in for a sweet snack and welcome Anna Branly and sister Katie Braam, owners of The Cupcake Bar, to the Five Points family.
The sisters started The Cupcake Bar in 2008, baking cocktail and beverage-inspired cupcakes, as well as classic flavors, out of a kitchen in Cary, and then delivering their treats around the Triangle.
They’ll officially open their brick-and-mortar for business at 11am today, smack dab in the middle of Chapel Hill and Morris Streets at 101 E. Chapel Hill St. The shop offers modern, bright seating and decor, free Wi-Fi, coffee, milkshakes and a rotating variety of cupcakes, from Mexican Chocolate to Mojito, in both standard and mini sizes for taste-testing – the perfect way to brighten up this dreary day!
