Do you like this?

cheap pinot wine arturo

Pinot Noir is still the hottest red wine around. But really, how many of you drink it? Chances are it's cost that is the culprit, as pinot noir is expensive and not always satisfying. Enter a Chilean Pinot Noir that is absolutely varietal - it smells and tastes as Pinot Noir should. And its price will keep bringing you back for more.

2010 Casa Silva Pinot Noir Reserva, Colchagua Valley, Chile  $12 srp

A warm, perfumed, velvety nose of fresh berries, with dried flowers, tea, sandalwood, beetroot and fresh earth elements. (Pinot Noir conjures up so many interesting elements when it's good) Flavors feature raspberry, a touch of cherry and a "meaty" element--even though it is light bodied and refreshing. Finishes long and a bit tart, but NOT at all thin. Will match easily with a variety of foods including salmon, pork, poultry, Porcini mushrooms and roasted peppers. Drink now-2014.

Thanks for this good recommendation! I love it that you recommend things that are mostly not too pricey and a little out of the ordinary too. Thanks Arturo.
