Fall at Duke Gardens. Photo by Rick Fisher.
OK, so Durham doesn't own fall. But, for my money, nothing makes you appreciate the place you call home more than turning leaves and a chill in the air. And, seriously, have you been outside today? Perfect.
My family and I are anxious to get out and about this weekend to enjoy fun activities in glorious autumn weather.
On Saturday, my son and I are heading over to Duke Gardens for the Mallarmé Chamber Players' family-friendly concert, The Legend of Pecos Bill. There are two hour-long shows at noon and 1:30pm, so go get the kiddos some culture.
We're also planning on taking a nice drive to check out some of the fabulous domiciles on the Parade of Homes.
And, on Sunday evening, we'll be hitting up the exclusive food truck rodeo at Durham Central Park.
What's your favorite way to experience fall in Durham? Have at in the comments.
