On Sunday night, we were hankering for something different. This led us to the Washington Duke Inn's Bull Durham Bar for burgers and drinks, overlooking the 18th hole and the Durham sunset.
It was easily one of the most civilized burgers we've had. You may have seen in the most recent Foodie Issue that we've been eating our fair share of burgeres lately - and the Wa-Duke's definitely makes the cut. You also may have noticed that the cover dish comes from here as well. We found they brought the same gourmet touches to the burger that they did to those scrumptious shrimp and grits. Juicy burger on a delicious toasted bun, and homemade pickles to die for.
We may also have information regarding the deliciousness of the vodka lemonade. Perhaps it is worth trying - you know, in case you've been on the fence about it.
