Motorco Music Hall - Check out the three concerts going on at Motorco this weekend. Friday, Katharine Whalen, famed voice of the Squirrel Nut Zippers, will celebrate the release of her new album at 8pm. Ticket prices are to be announced. Saturday, Motorco delivers two shows, the first being a matinee in the Garage featuring Let Me Run and Almost People at 4pm, with tickets selling for $5 a pop. NC Comicon Local Creator Spotlight - Calling all comic book fans! Ultimate Comics will be hosting an event Saturday from 11am-5pm showcasing local comics creators' works and talent. Whole Foods Market 11th Annual Dog Wash - Got a dirty dog on your hands? Whole Foods and the Animal Protection Society of Durham will gladly take your filthy, furry friend and make him or her sparkle at the 2011 dog wash this Saturday from 10am-2pm in the Duke Administrative Building parking lot. There is a suggested donation of $15, for which APS volunteers will bathe, rinse and towel dry your pup. All proceeds will benefit APS of Durham. Greek Night - Parizade celebrates their annual Greek night in honor of the Demeter, Greek goddess of the harvest and fertility. The festivities begin Sunday at 6pm with an extensive buffet serving Greek favorites such as braised lamb with orzo, spanikopita and many more mouth-watering dishes.
