Eliot Fisk performs Friday at Reynolds Industries Theater

Last Chance to view Ólafur Elíasson: The uncertain museum - Through Sept. 30 - Steel, wooden floor, wire, motors, spotlight, projection foil, glass and mirror discs. These are the ingredients to artist Elíasson’s popular interactive installation on display that explores the relationship between spectator and object by allowing a visitor to step inside the nearly 10 feet tall, 15 feet wide circular “museum” and view themselves reflected on three large glass discs. Last Chance to view Selenotropic - Through Sept. 30 - This collaborative exhibition of works by Katharine Whalen and Chance Murray promises to be a vibrant exploration of the growth and decay of everyday life. Eliot Fisk - Friday, 8pm - The classical guitarist – the last pupil of Andrés Segovia, a virtuoso Spanish classical guitarist – appears solo in this Duke Performances concert, plucking his six-string to the tune of popular Latin-American songs, transcriptions of Bach and Paganini, and Luciano Berio’s Sequenza XI, a piece written expressly for Eliot.
