Triangle Corporate Battle of the Bands' champion London Dungeon performs
This year’s Triangle Corporate Battle of the Bands, sponsored by McKinney, was the most successful year in the Battle’s history with more than $100,000 raised from sponsorships, donations, raffle ticket and T-shirt sales. That hundred grand brought the total funds raised at the five Battles since 2006 to more than half a million dollars.
This year’s proceeds benefited KidZNotes, a nonprofit organization that fights poverty and encourages positive decision making by instructing and engaging children in classical orchestral music. All of the funds raised at the Battle will go toward musical instruction, performances and instruments for the 200 students in the program.
Duke University’s London Dungeon took home the title of champion with Elster Solutions’ Killa Wattz as the runner-up.
