Winning Design

Olivia, a student at Towson University, was a Six Week School student at ADF this summer. Hers was one of 12 designs submitted. (See them all HERE.) More than 800 people cast votes on Facebook to determine the winner, and Olivia had the winning tally of 171.

"I thought it would be a great opportunity to utilize my skills in design to give back to my fellow dance community," Olivia says.

"After coming to Durham and experiencing the magic of ADF, I can honestly say that it has become a part of me in so many ways. I made beautiful friendships, got to immerse myself in new styles of dance, and got to be around several dance legends that I have looked up to for so long. Being immersed in ADF culture is something that I will keep with me for the remainder of my life, and I think many people who attend this festival can attest to that."
