The Dish: Dame’s Chicken and Waffle

OurPick4A.jpg

Dame’s Chicken and Waffles claims its food is “smack yo’ Mama good.” We wouldn’t go quite that far, but we might give Mama a gentle shove if she stood between us and this uniquely decadent and, it must be said, multicultural fare. Located in the heart of downtown, Dame’s seems to have perfected this peculiar soul food combo. True, each meal at Dame’s should come with a complimentary gym membership. But it’s hard to imagine a meal that gives you more bang for your caloric intake!
