Zandra Clark, joined by husband James, tells how the Ronald McDonald House provided shelter, support and comfort while their daughter, born four months premature, received care at Duke Hospitals. Zandra announced that, as of yesterday, their four-month-old baby had been cleared to go home for the first time.
Angelina Hilos, with help from Ronald McDonald House Executive Director Oie Osterkamp, cuts the ribbon on the new facility. She was joined by Ric Richards, president of the Ronald McDonald House board of trustees, Mayor Bill Bell, Gov. Bev Perdue and other dignitaries. Angelina turned the first shovel of dirt at the project groundbreaking last year.
