SEEDS will also be selling plant starts including tomatoes, basil, peppers, squash, watermelon and more. Plus, there will be information provided on the variety of community programs that SEEDS supports including their Wednesday Produce and Craft Market, 2012 Summer Workshop Series, SEEDlings Summer Camps and Durham Inner-city Gardeners program.
In collaboration with Moshi Moshi’s fundraising efforts, Blend Cafe, Golden Belt’s local coffee and frozen yogurt spot, will be serving special blended yogurts with SEEDS ingredients including fresh mint and lemon balm just a few doors down from Moshi Moshi. During the event, Blend will contribute 15% of all proceeds towards SEEDS.
We hope to raise over $2,000 during this event.
