Celebrate 80 years of dance this summer with one of the largest and most influential modern dance festivals in the world. More than 15 modern dance companies and hundreds of choreographers, writers and students participate in classes, concerts, tours, discussions and performances at Durham Performing Arts Center, Reynolds Industries Theater and Motorco June 13 – July 27.

A fun-filled, educational and uplifting day at CCB Plaza on June 15 that features musical entertainment – including Durham’s own Family Sircle – food, vendors, exhibitors and presentations on the origin and significance of Juneteenth.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have five decades of smash hits under their belts, not to mention Gladys’ eight Grammys. The Empress of Soul joins the R&B trio – Eddie Levert Sr., Walter Williams Sr. and Eric Nolan Grant – as they take the stage June 30 at the Durham Performing Arts Center to welcome all aboard the “Love Train” and the “Midnight Train to Georgia”!
